This mantra was in full bloom at the recent Freshman Orientation 2013 on the Mandeville campus for Roshane Foster, who soldiers daily with a physical disability which challenges his ability to walk or talk normally. Not to be daunted, the National Youth Services (NYS) graduate is currently registered to start a degree programme in Computer and Information Sciences department.

Mandeville Brings the Curtain Down on REACH 2013

The last leg of the REACH programme came to an end in Mandeville with 35 persons being baptized in the nine day event, bringing the total to 75 baptized since the launch of the initiative in the Mandeville, Cedar Grove, Knockpatrick, Royal Flat, and Mike Town Districts of Seventh-day Adventist Churches. The programme was held on the grounds of the Mandeville Primary and Junior High, August 16 - 24, 2013, with speaker Dr. Oswald Euell, Conference Secretary for the Northeastern Conference in the United States.

With the kind of pageantry worthy of a nation that has hosted both the Olympic Games and soccer’s World Cup, Seventh-day Adventists from the Northern-Asia Pacific Division welcomed thousands of delegates to the International Mission Congress with festive singing, enthusiastic participation, and the overriding plea for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit to help Adventists finish the work of sharing the everlasting gospel. The event opened Wednesday evening, August 28, on the Republic of Korea's Jeju Island.
