The sun is setting over the Aegean Sea, bringing another wonderful day to a close, a day rich in discoveries. Two ancient cities were on the program today, Miletus and Priene. Priene is not mentioned in Scripture, but Miletus is, as the starting point of the apostle Paul’s voyage back to Jerusalem, and the place where the saints bade him farewell with tears and sorrow (see Acts 20:16-38). It impresses by its huge Roman theatre, the installations around what was then the harbor, today completely silted up and far from the sea shore.

Since 2000, educator dispositions inclusion in the conceptual framework of teacher education programmes in the U. S.A. has become mandatory (NCATE, 2000). In seeking to investigate the ways in which and the extent to which dispositions were included in the curriculum of pre-service teacher education, how they were taught and assessed, a search for appropriate survey instruments was conducted. When no such instruments were found, two instruments were developed to answer my research questions leading to the completion of my dissertation – one specifically designed for Faculty and the other for pre-service teacher candidates.
