Now, although being a part Christ's Kingdom is by choice ("volunteers" verse 3) and not by force, the outcome of our choices is known beforehand; followers will live and detractors will not.

One of Northern Caribbean University’s (NCU) outreach arms, the Community Counselling and Restorative Justice Centre (CCRJC) honoured 28 participants in the Parent Empowerment Training series for the community of Pike on Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Chair in the Department of Behavioural and Social Sciences at NCU, Dr. Grace Kelly delivered an inspiring address at the Pike United Church under the theme, Uplifted to Uplift Others. Northern Caribbean University (NCU) netballers marched into the finals of the Inter-Collegiate Junior Netball Finals with a demolition of Montego Bay Community College (MBCC) at the St. Elizabeth Technical High School grounds 29-19 on Monday, November 25, 2013. The ladies from the blessed hill gained sweet revenge against their opponents, who had the better of them as this stage last year, and registered a historic victory. The NCU team has consistently triumphed in the competition over the past three years, placing second in 2011 and third in 2012.

Incidentally, it is usually at this time of year, starting on the last Thursday in November, that Northern Caribbean University hosts the four-day joyous event of welcoming home its own family – its valued alumni and friends.
