Fifteen students at Northern Caribbean University (NCU) received scholarships from NCU alumnus, Dr. Linvol Henry, on Thursday November 28, 2013. The presentation was made during the Opening Ceremony for Alumni Homecoming which was held on the institution’s Main Campus in Mandeville. Each student received a total of $50,000 each to bring the total sum donated to $750,000.

The Northern Caribbean University (NCU) Badminton Club added more silverware to its collection recently, when the Men’s team mined silver in the Inter-Collegiate finals at the University of Technology (UTECH) Alfred Sangster Auditorium. The NCU team, having entered the finals as the underdogs, represented the pride of all non-corporate area teams very well being the only rural team left in the competition.

Hard work, perseverance and determination were the hallmark of the Northern Caribbean University (NCU) netballers sojourn to gold medal triumph in the Inter-collegiate Junior league at the Leila Robinson courts recently. The NCU ladies were getting to this stage of the competition for the third time in four years, copping bronze and silver on their two prior visits. The resoluteness with which the NCU ladies progressed was too much for the first time finalist Moneague College (MC), as the more seasoned campaigners edged MC 20-17.
