The Department of Health and Wellness at Northern Caribbean University (NCU) launched its 10,000 Steps per day in 10 Weeks programme on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the institution’s Main Campus in Mandeville. The programme received $1.29 million from Guardian Life to boost the programme that is geared towards motivating NCU employees to lead healthy active lives by meeting a target of at least 10,000 steps a day for a period of 10 weeks. Their progress will be measured by pedometers provided by the Guardian Group of Companies.
