Garrad Rigby is a walking example of “unlimited potential”-coupled with unwavering desire to achieve perfection. He has been singing for family and friends before he was able to speak full sentences. He sang his first public solo at the age of three, and ever since, he has been on a journey to fulfill his purpose, and make an impact on earth for the “Kingdom of Heaven” through music as a performer, conductor and educator. Currently, Garrad is employed with the Ministry of Education as a trained music teacher where he is posted at the H.O. Nash Junior High school.

Northern Caribbean University (NCU) volleyball team valiantly battled the defending champions University of Technology (UTECH) in the second semi-finals of the inter-collegiate competition in a four set hum digger at the NCU’s gymnatorium on Monday April 14. The NCU team tasted defeat for the second time against the said opponents, as they were edged 3-1 in its inaugural semi-finals showdown.

2014 Inter-collegiate male volleyball Debutant, Northern Caribbean University (NCU), chalked up its first silverware of the season on Wednesday April 16, when they salvaged sweet revenge on the G C Foster College of Physical Education team 3-1 in the third place play off in the inter-collegiate league at the University of Technology Alfred Sangster Auditorium. The debutant NCU team was adamant to avenge an earlier preliminary round loss to their more seasoned campaigners.
