The theme for the Leadership Roundtable 2014, “People, Purpose, and Passion: Pathways to Successful Leadership”, identifies some central constituents, necessary for effective leadership. An organization is made up of the people, and the joint effort of all is required for success in achieving the mission of the entity. In order, therefore, for an organization to accomplish its mission, the people who comprise it must co-ordinate their efforts to facilitate an outcome which one isolated individual would be unable to achieve alone. For this to be successfully achieved, people, driven by a purpose for which they are passionate, are inspired to accomplish the mission to which they are called.
