The annual Leadership Roundtable Conference at Northern Caribbean University (NCU) continued on Thursday, July 10 at the university’s Gymnatorium. The second day featured various presentations including Technical Writing by Chair of NCU’s Department of Communication Studies Rhoma Tomlinson and Intention to Pursue Post-Secondary Education and Related Factors Among Jamaica Senior High School Students by Professor in the Department of Graduate Education and Leadership Dr. Teran Milford. President of NCU Dr. Trevor Gardner was the keynote speaker at Servant Leadership Luncheon.

Bailey shared that "the formation of the NCU Mathematics Institute is an excellent example of the University's effort to improve the level of performance in mathematics. The primary objective of this institute is to assist mathematics teachers to improve their performance for this will have a positive impact on the students". To this end, NCU Math Institute will be hosting a Math Workshop for teachers July 15-17, with emphasis on helping teachers to use modern technology and techniques to teach their children.

Five alumni from the School of Religion and Theology at Northern Caribbean University (NCU) were ordained as ministers on July 12, 2014 at the Noel Frazer Auditorium in St. James. Keane Adams, Jermaine Bailey, Jason Edwards, Everette Taylor, and Floyd Whyte were presented with their instruments at the ordination service by Pastor Glen Samuels, Director of the Ministerial, Sabbath School and Personal Ministries department of the Jamaica Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventist.
