Northern Caribbean University’s (NCU) Gymnatorium in Mandeville was on Saturday February 7, 2015 the stage for the largest showing for the Family Life Directors of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist. Dr Willie and Elaine Oliver were the main presenters of the stellar event that saw approximately 2,000 couples attended and renewed marital vows with their spouses during a Couples Convention at the NCU Gymnatorium in Mandeville, Jamaica.

During the middle ages, the title of knighthood was bestowed upon an individual (knight) by a monarch or Member of Parliament. It was not a title that was desired after as it was considered a “title of lower class nobility”. However, by the end of the middle ages, the title became associated with “perfect Christian warrior and chivalry”. A knight was described as a vassal who served as a fighter for the Lord. Likewise, in our society, we have men who are willing to stand up for Christ. They are our modern day Noble Knights.
