Recently, a team from the University of Texas School of Dentistry, led by Dr Lincoln Edwards, visited Northern Caribbean University (NCU) as part of a mission trip to Jamaica where they, along with members of the NCU Dental Hygiene Department, offered dental services to the university family and to community members as well. The services offered — extractions, cleanings and restorative work­— were provided at a minimal cost.
