Homecoming Weekend 2012 at Northern Caribbean University (NCU) featured the debut of a football match between alumni and current students titled President’s 11 vs the Invincibles on Thursday, November 22, 2012. The President’s 11 comprised alumni members and was led by University President, Dr. Trevor Gardner while students were dubbed the Invincibles. The alumni members defeated the students by 5-1.

Approximately 40 men of God celebrated success on November 25, 2012 at the Hillview Seventhday Adventist Church as they formed the first batch of graduates to complete special certification from the Bahamas Vocational Technical Institute in what was the brainchild of Elder James Sands. Under the theme, “Progressing Toward the Future”, these smartly dressed men walked to receive their certificates from the Institute. The Adventist Men Coordinator, Pastor Leonardo Rahming was proud to be a part of this wonderful occasion as it signaled a brand new day in the Adventist Men’s Ministries of the South Bahamas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
