Professor in the School of Religion & Theology, Dr. Vassel Kerr was featured as the keynote speaker of the event which was guided by the theme, The Pauline Concept of Women: Androcentric or Christocentric? Imagine my delight when last December when my travelling a few hours with my eldest brother, who'd come home visiting, he told me things about my dad I was hearing for the first time. Northern Caribbean University, (NCU) through its Academic Development and Viable Approaches to Nurturing Collegiate Endeavours (A.D.V.A.N.C.E) programme hosted 37 students from seven Seventh-day Adventist high schools on its Mandeville campus from March 20-24, 2013. The students were housed at the Cedar and Jamaica Halls of residence for four days and were exposed to the NCU culture through their interaction with university faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
