Held on Saturday, March 23, 2013, the concert was hosted by the Department of Music, and featured Dr. Paul Tucker, international conductor from the University of Kansas along with the NCU Chorale and Chamber Ensemble.

Once every school year, young scholars from across Jamaica look forward to opportunity to tour their favourite universities on special excursions from their current institutions. Northern Caribbean University, (NCU) through its Academic Development and Viable Approaches to Nurturing Collegiate Endeavours (A.D.V.A.N.C.E) programme hosted 37 students from seven Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) high schools on its Mandeville campus from March 20-24, 2013. The students were housed at the Cedar and Jamaica Halls of residence for four days and were exposed to the NCU culture through their interaction with university faculty, staff, students and alumni.
