The role of state ambassador is a very distinguished one, and an ambassador must be completely up-to-date on all issues involving his country. Ambassadors represent someone else as purposefully and accurately as possible, as an agent.

Andre Hibbert and Chantal Brown are the Northern Caribbean University (NCU) Student Ambassadors for the academic year 2015-2016. The new ambassadors were crown at the Northern Caribbean University’s (NCU) Citizenship Awards Banquet held on Sunday March 1, 2015 in the NCU’s Gymnatorium in Mandeville. Decorated and themed, ‘Pearls and Diamond,’ the team from the Division of Student Services created a wow effect as they partnered with other areas in making this experience for those present a life changing event.

MA in Christian Psychology One Step Closer at NCU
Northern Caribbean University (NCU) department of Behavioural and Social Sciences is one step closer to adding to its niche of providing certified and qualified graduates in Christian Psychology as the University recently hosted its sixth staging of its Mind of Christ conference at the University’s Mandeville campus. The essence of this programme as shared by the many participants is by no means down playing secular or conventional psychology but highlighting the fact of using a more Christocentric approach in impacting the mind.

NCU Business Scholars Face Off in CFA Regional
Northern Caribbean University (NCU) continues to consistently represent Jamaica on the international scene in research and academia. The Seventh-day Adventist owned and operated University highlighted its prowess as the first Caribbean university to win the Microsoft World Imagine Cup in 2010 and winning several other local and international accolades in several other disciplines. Even most recently, the 2014 International Business Model Competition saw a team from NCU placed in the top 10 of 40 teams, ahead of names such as Harvard and Johns Hopkins University.

The all-time classic “To Sir, With Love” illustrates a truth that is universally spoken, that is, sometimes the classroom can be a challenge to deal with. The all-too-familiar scene of rude retorts, students on cell phones, paper ball throwing, radio/ipod/cell phones blaring and a teacher trying desperately to get and maintain the students’ attention, seems to be recurring daily.
