Escapism and I met about a month ago, or so I thought. It turned out that we met long before, years before, and we’ve been dating ever since. I also found out that he’s been cheating on me… with you. Water is the source of life. One of our main sources of water is rain. Though, in most movies it only rains when something horrific is going to happen, when someone is mourning or if it is the cause of a natural disaster. In contrast, some individuals most often metaphorically liken rain as the flow of money. In a way, this reminds me of God, He is our source of life.

“The love of money is the root of all evil.” Can this be closer to the truth? As important as money is to the quality of life, or how comfortable we live here on this earth, the love of money has been the root of too many heartaches. Why do drug dealers sell drugs that destroy peoples’ lives? What is the number one reason why people are robbed?

Sometimes this isn’t relatively evident to us; not only because of the difference in our location, language and culture, but also in our physical appearance as well.

It is that time of year again; no it is not Christmas… it is finals. It is the time of year when the most tears are shed and faith is grown or broken. There are many reasons why this period is so hectic; whether it is stress from finances, the work load or just anxiety. Yet, what makes this such a sad situation is that it is all unnecessary.
