We’ve often heard the saying, “Delay is danger.” And true to our many experiences in life that is a truism. You waited too long before you decided to settle down and study for your final examinations, and you end up failing. Because you were so shy you didn’t tell that special young lady how you felt about her, but someone else did, and so he’s married to her and not you. There is at times a clear advantage to making an early move in doing some things. The wise man Solomon In Ecclesiastes 12: 1 says, “Remember now thy creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, ‘I have no pleasure in them.’” There is an undeniable advantage in seeking to serve God early in life. But does it mean that if we come early we’ll get everything early? Not really.

NCU looking the more purposeful contingent, started putting passes together over an extended period much to the chagrin of their opponents and was rewarded with a goal from Kenroy “Kenny; Lee in the 10th minute of play.

In a thrilling encounter at the York Castle High School grounds, Northern Caribbean University (NCU) male football team returned to winning ways in the Inter Collegiate division 1 football competition as they beat Browns Town Community College (BTCC) 1-0. The score line did not do justice to the quality of play, as the NCU team looked calm, composed, and confident in dispatching the hapless BTCC in clash of the two 2010 division 2 promoted teams. NCU looking the more purposeful contingent, started putting passes together over an extended period much to the chagrin of their opponents and was rewarded with a goal from Kenroy “Kenny” Lee in the 10th minute of play. NCU’s fluid ball movement in the early parts of matches has become a staple of their playing style and, unlike their previous encounter, it is paying dividends.
